Hahndorf Resort 

Now Hahndorf Resort has to be on the top of our list of the best caravan parks in the Adelaide hills for two reasons. The first being that it is located in the picturesque village of Hahndorf, which means a beautiful view of the hills. The second being its proximity to all the National Parks, with excellent walking trails allowing for lots of exploration opportunities.

Brighton Caravan Park 

It is a beach-side caravan park overlooking the Gulf St. Vincent. The beauty of setting up residence here is that you can hop on over for a swim at any time. It is an excellent place for some snorkelling and fishing. Plus, there are many walking trails and is near a nature reserve with lots of trees and plants.

Brighton Caravan Park has many different caravan sites, all of which have an area for BBQs, amenity blocks and a kitchen. The park also hosts kids’ programs during the peak season, and there are rental paddleboards and kayaks to keep the adults busy.

Levi Park Caravan Park

It is one of the top caravan parks in the Adelaide Hills who want to escape the city but live near it. Just 5km from the city centre, it is located near the bank of the River Torrens. You enjoy all the amenities of the city while staying away from all the commotion.

The caravan park is also close to the Adelaide Oval and Zoo, making it an excellent option if you have kids. The gravel sites have running water and power outlets. Plus, you can take any size caravan into the dog-friendly park.

Shiloh Hills Park Accommodation

Now if you were hoping to catch a glimpse of a few wild koalas and kangaroos, amongst other critters, then Shiloh Hills Park accommodation is worth considering. Just 25 minutes from the city centre, this is a dog-friendly caravan park, to which you can bring your cats along too.

The park is surrounding by a beautiful forest and is close to the Ironbank. The site offers a dumping point, power sites, water facilities and a fire pit.
